A visual interpretation of sound, where rhythm and intensity shape an abstract journey through space.

Lines stretch, distort and converge before giving way to a glowing celestial form. As the movement builds, the image spirals inward, ending in a final collapse into darkness.

I wanted to explore abstraction without losing a sense of recognition.

Drawing from retro psychedelic imagery and cosmic forms, I gradually pushed familiar visual ideas into something more distorted and ambiguous. The imagery becomes increasingly chaotic before revealing a recognisable form: a black hole.

Sound as the Starting Point

The sound came before the visuals.

I created the track by layering random noises, manipulating and distorting them until their original sources became unrecognisable. The resulting rhythm and intensity became the structure for the animation, guiding its movement and progression.
